Art Houze Alive (AHA) is a launch pad for artists who are determined to become successful entrepreneurs. From business strategy and consulting to providing the space, education and connections they need, we are a platform for creating sustainable businesses, growing the arts economy and investing in artists who inspire us all. Art Houze Alive is an artistic think tank that meets the needs of an underserved and abundant artistic community in Atlanta and surrounding areas.
Our mission is to cultivate arts enterprises that create consistent revenue for artists and expand the role of the arts in the larger local economy. As a result, we energize diverse communities in dynamic uncompromising ways. Art Houze Alive supports the growing needs of emerging and exciting art businesses, as many artist have creative and ambitious business ideas but lack access to the necessary channels to realize them successfully. Art Houze Alive bridges the gap…in short we specialize in helping creatives "Turn Passions Into Profits".
In 2009, Art Houze Alive founder, TwinSpirit, created the SOFA (Souls of Artist) Series – A Mobile Arts Platform designed to facilitate opportunities, partnerships, and exposure for her fellow artist. With over 20 years of experience as an award winning International Jazz/Soul Artist, small business owner, and creative business consultant for start-ups, TwinSpirit expanded the scope of the SOFA Series to answer the ever growing need expressed by Artist she met and worked with all over the world: to access the skills, tools, and business know-how necessary to grow their brands and develop businesses that thrive. This expanded vision caused The SOFA Series to transform and it has given birth to, “Art Houze Alive”. We are the answer to that call!
The Art Houze Alive team consists of a full-time Director and Program Associate. We collaborate with a strong network of virtual consultants who provide marketing, creative services, and administrative support to our business clients and members. In addition we have an advisory board of seasoned artists, educators, and leading professionals in the arts community who offer counsel, services, coaching, and programming. This specialized focus, customizable suite of services, and dedicated support system is what makes Art Houze Alive uniquely special and qualified to be a powerful catalyst for Artrepreneuership!
We teach Artists the “Art of business” in a space and community where “Artrepreneurs” can grow, collaborate, be inspired, and share their gifts with the world!!
